SPLASH week will happen from Monday April 20th- Friday April 24th with a graduation ceremony on Saturday April 25th during our Healthy Kids' Day celebration. SPLASH week will happen during the hours of 5pm-8pm.

Children must be registered for SPLASH week through our membership desk at the Oviedo YMCA. Children can sign up for two 30 minute time slots during SPLASH week.

Description
SPLASH week is a week where the YMCA's throughout Central Florida will open their doors to expose children to the water through lessons and water safety courses. There were over 800 children who drown in 2014 in the state of Florida and the Central Florida YMCA has mad it our mission to get as many children as we can in our doors for SPLASH week to educate them about water safety.
SPLASH week is open to non-members and member ages 4-12 years old. Children can register for 2 classe during the week. They will be grouped with children in the same age group.
Although every child is different, children will not learn how to swim during this brief time, but they will learn water safety, beach safety, and other skills. There will be an opportunity for children to enroll in our monthly group lessons or private lessons during this week.
