Mayor of Oviedo, Dominic Persampiere, will be presenting a proclamation to Paul Mitchell The School Orlando.
“Selected for the third consecutive year by RelocateAmerica.com as one of “America’s Top 100 Places to Live” in 2011, and by Family Circle magazine as one of the TEN BEST TOWN FOR FAMILIES in the United States, making the decision to move to Oviedo was not hard to make. As it is customary of all Paul Mitchell schools, we look forward to being involved with community events, and being an active member of the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce,” said Henry Torres, Director of the school. “Having a Paul Mitchell School in Oviedo has been at the top of our wish list for many years,” Giulio Veglio said. “All things happen exactly how and when they should, which is why having this brilliant location, with such amazing partners and a brilliant team, makes this grand opening extra special for us all.”
Designed to train as many as 250 students at a time, the school remained open throughout the recent renovations, serving guests and educating students. The 15,600-square-foot state of the art facility now boasts all new furniture and a fully branded environment, in keeping with the other 110 schools in the nationwide network. The new location also includes an enlarged clinic floor and brand-new reservation desk, Wash House, Color Bar, and Phase One and Phase Two areas for Cosmetology and Barbering. Like all Paul Mitchell Schools, the Oviedo location works and educates exclusively with Paul Mitchell products, and its instructors and students follow an aggressive, ongoing educational and cultural development program.
About Paul Mitchell Schools
Staff members at Paul Mitchell Schools believe that education is an adventure and the learning experience needs to be fun. Each school is a learning community that provides future professionals with opportunities to develop essential skills while exploring their talents, passion, and creativity.
Paul Mitchell Schools are also committed to making a difference not only in its own community but all over the world. Through our annual three-month fundraising campaign, future professionals across the country have raised and donated over $10 million to charitable organizations in the last eight years. They’ve built many homes with Habitat for Humanity; fed thousands of African orphans; and supported the victims of AIDS, breast cancer, homelessness, hurricanes, abuse, and hundreds of other causes. They’ve also formed student-run “Go Green Teams” to find ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle in their schools, and “Be Nice (Or Else!) Teams” to support their fellow students and local communities through a variety of programs and outreach activities. In addition, a portion of the cost of every student technical kit is donated to the American Forest Global ReLeaf Program to help replace America's trees.
