Alafaya Trail Pet Oasis Opens in the Oviedo Community
 
The Grand Opening Event will Benefit Oviedo Police Department’s K-9 Unit!
 
 
Oviedo, FL – June 15, 2013 – Alafaya Trail Pet Oasis is happy to announce they are now open for business. Located at 2987 Alafaya Trail, The Pet Oasis is Oviedo’s Premier Pet Resort and Wellness Center. The Management team would like to invite the Oviedo community to join them in their Grand Opening celebration, to take place Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 12 noon to 4 pm. The facility will be open for tours and there will be educational seminars and fun entertainment for everyone in the family. As part of the event, there will be a great raffle benefiting Oviedo Police Department’s K-9 unit. Some of the prizes include a round of golf for 2 and 1 spa treatment in one of Orlando’s premier destinations, The Ritz Carlton Orlando-Grande Lakes. The raffle will also include a 2 night stay at the Staybridge Suites-Lake Buena Vista, Veterinary Services courtesy of Alafaya Trail Animal Hospital, Grooming services at The Pet Oasis and much more.
 
The Oviedo Police Department is in the process of adding a second K-9 to their unit and securing the funds necessary for that purchase and any related equipment. As part of the event, Officer Capetillo and his K-9 partner Nero will highlight the educational segment with a presentation on the K-9 unit involvement in our community. “Supporting the Oviedo Police Department’s K-9 unit is a no brainer. Their focus on crime prevention and safety for our community goes hand in had with the Pet Oasis’ focus of creating a safe space for our pet community in Oviedo.” Danita Dohmer, Pet Oasis Manager.
