Description
2012 Visioning Event
“Boldly Building Our Future”
Talent Supply & Education as Drivers of Innovation & Economic Development
Each year the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce presents a Visioning Series Event focused on a key aspect of the East Orlando Community. With the 2012 event on May 16, we will kick-off a series of 5 events focused on the Six Pillars that have been identified as drivers of Florida’s future. Each event will present key insights into East Orlando’s strengths, challenges and promising future in the six pillars. This initial event will focus on the two pillars that underpin the other four: our talent supply & education and how they drive innovation & economic development. We have assembled a panel of key leaders in the community to offer their knowledge and perspectives and answer your questions.
Dr. Tony Waldrop, Provost & Executive Vice President, UCF
Dr. Kathleen Plinske, Campus President, Valencia College Osceola
Randy Berridge, President, Florida High Tech Corridor
Rick Weddle, President, Metro Orlando EDC
Marc Middleton, CEO, Bold Media Group, moderator
