Oviedo Medical Center is committed to improving more lives in more ways. Oviedo Medical Center is proud to partner with Oviedo Police Department in support of the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in the fight against medication misuse and opioid addiction. Crush the Crisis events aim to educate our communities on the risk of medication misuse while providing a safe and anonymous way to dispose of medications that may be left over from previous procedures or other medical visits.

ACCEPTED ITEMS: Tablets or capsules in any packaging, patches, medicated ointments, lotions, or drops, liquid medications (in leak-proof containers), vape cartridges (without batteries) and pet medications

NOT ACCEPTED ITEMS: Needles, syringes, lancets and illegal drugs

The collection site which includes a convenient drive thru, medication drop-off option will be located at the front of Oviedo Medical Center. Please follow event signs to the drive thru medication drop-off location.
