The 10th Anniversary Central Florida Law Enforcement Car Show returns to the Oviedo Mall on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 9 am to 4
pm with even more activities, vendors and displays to thrill children, adults and car enthusiasts alike.
The 10th Anniversary Central Florida Law Enforcement Car Show returns to the Oviedo Mall on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 9 am to 4 pm with even more activities, vendors and displays to thrill children, adults and car enthusiasts alike.
There is NO ADMISSION COST for spectators of any age.
In addition to hundreds of classic, modern and antique show vehicles of all types from Florida and beyond, there will be displays and demonstrations spread across acres of the Oviedo Mall parking lot and its adjacent spaces. Vehicles from Law Enforcement, Emergency Medical Services and Fire-Rescue organizations will be staged along with hundreds of privately-owned cars, trucks and motorcycles. The show also includes law enforcement and air ambulance helicopters; K-9 demos; Fire-Rescue demonstrations; FHP Rollover demonstrations; the OneBlood “Big Red Bus” donation vehicle; and specialized public safety and tactical equipment from multiple agencies. Kids and adults always are encouraged to bring cameras to photograph the amazing sights, demonstrations and special guests.Each year a dedicated Kids’ Zone offers inflatable play areas, games, face-painting, safety education, crafts and other hand-on activities. This annual event is hosted by the Oviedo-Winter Springs Optimist Club in cooperation with the Oviedo Police Department and Winter Springs Police Department. Competitive car show entry fees and corporate and business sponsorships/donations will benefit local Optimist Club youth, family and special needs programs, the O.I. Childhood Cancer Campaign and Nemours Children’s Hospital Orlando! <http://www.nemours.org/locations/nch.html > “Kids’ Choice” awards will be picked based on youth spectator voting while independent judges will select multiple standouts in various vehicle classes, as well as “Best of” in each class and the overall “Best in Show.” As at the last show, about 90 awards will be presented in January. Personal cars, trucks and motorcycles of all types may be registered to enter the car show for $25 a vehicle ($20 when paid by 12/31/14).
