Description
Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) - Jason Wysong
High School Internships: A Win-Win Strategy Employers and Community
Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) is committed to supporting all high school students as they discover potential pathways to college and/or career. National data sets and feedback from local business partners support our belief that students who complete an internship prior to entering the workforce develop stronger employability skills and are better prepared to meet workplace expectations. During this session, SCPS will explain the internship model in more detail as well as share success stories, best practices and lessons learned from hundreds of completed experiences.
