DESCRIPTION:This month we'll have Rachel Plakon\, with the Florida Commission on the Status of Women (FCSW)\, as our guest speaker to discuss important issues affecting women in our community. We'll then brainstorm solutions and then the feedback will go directly into a report sent to our governor.\n\n\n\nThe mission of the FCSW: Our mission is to enrich the ability for Florida women and girls to achieve their fullest potential. We are a non-partisan body comprised of 22 Commissioners who focus on raising awareness and celebrating the contributions and successes of women. The Commission hosts community conversations\, educational forums and seminars on issues impacting the lives of women. These issues are far-ranging from economic challenges to climbing the ladder of success.\n\n\n\nThe Oviedo Businesswomen Network (OBN) consists of area businesswomen who meet monthly to exchange information\, share contacts and provide a support system for professional women within our chamber's service area.\n\n\n\nThank you to our sponsor:\n\n\n\n\n\nSponsorships are still available with the benefits below.
